When life throws lemons at your chest, you just keep on singing! On Sunday night, during Ariana Grande’s final headlining Coachella performance, the pop star called out one audience member for throwing a lemon at her. Several fans caught the moment on camera, including one Twitter user, @KayleighPerezz, who posted a clip of the fruit bouncing off of Ari’s chest as she sang a “Right There”/”Break Your Heart Right Back” set. Like a true pro, Ariana brushed off the sour note telling the audience, “That’s ’cause one of ya’ll threw a lemon at me, s–t.” She continued the show and even surprised fans by bringing out Justin Bieber for a duet of “Sorry.” As you can imagine, after the show Arianators were pissed, including Billie Eilish’s brother, Finneas, who tweeted shade at the culprit, writing, “If you throw a lemon at Ariana Grande, you’re a piece of s–t.” So, why a lemon? Some fans speculate it was in response to Beyonce headlining Coachella last year – her last album is titled “Lemonade.” Plus, the fruity projectile came right on the heels of Netflix’s premiere of Bey’s doc “Homecoming,” which shows never-before-seen bts of her groundbreaking performance at the festival. As a fan of both Ari and Bey, can’t we all just get along? For the full story, head to Billboard.com. Until next time, for Billboard News, I’m Jordyn Rolling.
