Cómo crear una partición en un disco duro | particionar redimensionar y fusionar particiones

Good morning, today I will explain how to make
a partition on a hard drive, using to This is the MiniTool Partition Wizard application. It is a free application, but also
has professional versions, but with the than normal that is free, we’ll have
all the options necessary to partition the disc. The first thing is to download the application
from its Web page, whose link I will leave in the description of the video. In my case I already have it downloaded so
we proceed to the installation doing double click on the file We say yes. We get this language selection window,
that we will leave in English, because unfortunately this program is not in Spanish, although
that will not be a problem for us either time to use it We give OK, we accept the terms, we
We give Next, we give it back to next, here we leave checked the box to create
Direct access to the desktop. And now comes something very important, since
we are asked if we also want to install additional software, in this case the program
McAfee WebAdvisor, but this is just advertising that has nothing to do with the program that
we are going to install, so you have to unmark this box, so that this other program does not
install Although if you leave it marked by mistake, remember
that you can always uninstall that other program, from the Control Panel, as you would do with
any other application of your team. Clarified this, we give to next, and not
another recommendation program comes out to install, but again unchecked
the box, to tell you that we do not want to install nothing else in our team. We give to next, and now already, in this
window appears to us that we only go to install the MiniTool Partition Wizard, which
it’s the only thing we need, so now We can click on “Install” to complete
installation. With the program already installed we open it by doing
double click on the icon that was created in the desk. We say yes, and in this window that
appears to us we click on the first box, to start the program. As you can see below on the right we have left
a message, but just check the box, Do not show again, and close the window. Now with the program started, we will see
that we get this window in which they appear listed our hard drives, both internal
as external. In my case for example I have three hard drives
internal, that’s why these three discs appear, but I’m going to connect an external one so you can see
that immediately detects it. And similarly if I connect a USB stick
he will also recognize her as a unit with the one that can work. To explain how to make a partition
I’m going to use my unit E, which is a disk hard of 600Gb, and as you see contains information
saved, having to clarify that a new partition, we can only do it with space
of the disk that is not being used. Although the ideal is to make the partition into a
hard drive that does not contain information, or in default of what you have done previously
backup of everything, in case something goes wrong, being this something very important, so
always remember to have a backup of your files. Here I show you the unit E, so you can see
that I actually have information in this disk, but it will not be lost, by doing
the partition, as you will see now, although As a precaution, I made a backup
of everything. Now to perform the partition we have
that put the mouse on the unit that we want partition, assuring you that we select
the correct unit. In my case, as we have said, it would be the unit
E, and we right click to get it out this menu. In the click where it says Move / Resize,
and this window will come out of here, and if you notice a bar that represents
the capacity of our hard drive, so that you just have to move holding it in one
corner, depending on how much space we want Let it be the partition that we are going to create. Fiaros that since this record has information,
can not make the smallest partition that the disk space that the files occupy,
logically In this case, to give an example, what
I will do is resize the partition to that of 600Gb total happens to have only 400,
leaving in that way about 200Gb free for what will be the other partition. Once I have selected the exact size
to which I want to leave the partition I click OK, and you will see that I already have a view
previous how the hard drive is going to stay once partitioned. It will go from having 600Gb to having a partition
of 400Gb and another of 200Gb. Also, if you notice, of the two partitions
that I leave now, the 400Gb has format, but the other 200Gb, has none, for
what we are going to proceed to give a format. To do this, we right click on that
new unit that has not yet been formatted, and click where it says “Create”, in doing so
we will be asked what kind of format we want give it, what letter will the new unit have,
or if we want to use all the available space, but you can just leave everything as is
and hit OK. In my case, for example, I’m going to say that
new unit has the letter J, and also if you want, you can name the
unit, although this is not necessary, while than the format in the case of a hard drive,
it’s best to leave it on NTFS, so simply I’m going to press the OK button. And as you can see, now I get a new view
prior to how the record will be, with a partition of 400Gb, which already has
information saved, and a second partition of 200Gb, which will be completely new. If for some reason, it does not convince you, still
you are in time to back down, pressing the button that says “Discard”, since the
changes will not be carried out until Apply to Apply At this point, I commented that there
a quicker way, to do all this what we have done, and that is that if I click right
in the unit, and instead of going into “Move / Resize”, I enter where it says “Split”, that is, divide. I get this other window, which directly
allows me to separate the disc into two parts hard, leaving in each one in the space that
we want So I’m going to put a partition back
with 400Gb, and another with 200Gb, pulse OK, and as we see, automatically, they are already configured
the two partitions, just like we’ve done before, but faster. The difference is that by this other method,
We can not select the Letter, give it a name the unit, or decide the format,
If not, the program will select all the default options, which is not any
problem. If everything is correct, and we agree
with the changes we have made, and only we have to press the Apply Button, and the
process will start, being very important that you assure yourself that you have done all the
changes correctly, and that you have patience until it finish. For us to see a practical example, after
have indicated to the program the partition that I want to do, I’m going to give it to apply, and so
You see how the whole process is. When you press Apply you get this warning where
it is recommended to close all programs, in case you have other windows
open on the PC, and if everything is correct we press in Yes And as you see when completed we get a message
confirmation so we just press OK, we have our new partition created. In fact if we go to This Team, we see
that I get the new 200Gb unit with the letter J that I created, while the
unit E that previously had 600Gb, now has 400, since it has given its space to the
new unit. Also, if I enter unit E, we see that
the files it contained are still there, since it is a unit that in no
moment we have eliminated, we only reduced their space. Whereas if I enter the new unit that
I created with the J, although it could be any another letter that we would have given, is
empty, but it’s fully operational for start saving files on them, so
that we already have our disk partitioned. At this moment, I take this opportunity to tell you
some things. The first thing is that I do not recommend partitioning
the hard drive where you have installed the operating system, because if something goes wrong, you could
have problems to restart Windows, although if you decide to partition it, do it
always with great caution. Also, what happens if we want
do this process the other way, that is, if we have an already partitioned disk which
we want to unite again in a single unit. Well precisely now, I’ll explain
how to do it, since the process is practically the same, but doing the steps backwards. For example here I have my 600Gb hard disk,
partitioned into two parts, one of 400Gb that carries the letter E and another letter of 200Gb with the letter
H, and what I want is to merge both parties only one. For this, the first thing we have to do
is to eliminate one of the two units, and that is very important that the unit that we go
to eliminate this empty, or at least not contain nothing that we want to keep, since everything
it will be lost in it, so what to make sure to move the files to another unit, and do
backup copies, before deleting it. In my case I’m going to eliminate the 200Gb unit,
that bears the letter J and that it contains nothing, so I right click on it, and
mark the option that says “Delete”. Now, in the preview, we see that the unit
is already eliminated, but its space is not still assigned, so let’s give it to him
to the other partition of the disk, that is to say in my case unit E. I right click on the unit and select
“Move / Resize” as we did before, and now in this window I move the bar to be able
add all the unassigned space to the unit, as you are seeing now. Next we press OK, and as we see in
the preview, the hard drive has become to convert into a single unit that is taking advantage
all the space available. So now we only have to give the button
Apply, so that changes are made to out, and again we’ll have to wait until
that the process ends. As we can see, the process has been completed with
success, we already have the two partitions merged in a single unit. In fact if I look again at This Team,
we see how unit J has disappeared, while that unit E has its full 600gb again,
and the files it contained have continued to be maintained at all times. And here the video, I hope you have found
useful if you were looking for an easy way to create or merge partitions in your
hard drives. If so, you can hit Like, or if you have
