Composer Buddy Baker on transitioning from radio to film – TelevisionAcademy.com/Interviews

yes it was easy for me but because so I
tried to while I was at a exclusive I tried to in fact they’re not only tried
we did some big Orchestra things on pop tunes I was using you know 40 40 piece
orchestras on some of those things and it was an opportunity to to expand a
little bit and then get away from just the brass and saxophone sound of a pop
tune so at that point then you were writing more Orchestra Li right then
just not boring string things you okay and what about the dramatic needs of
film worried by you were writing cues for dramatic purposes was that much
different than you had done in radio yes yeah I think it’s quite an object
because radio you had a Lurie to go by but when you have a visual situation
it’s different now you can you can get into it a little more
