MagicLens Composer: Tutorial 1 Content ändern/Change Content

In this tutorial we´ll show you how to make
content changes in your MagicLens App . The only requirement for this is that you have
administration login data for the so called MagicLens composer. You will be taken directly to the overview
of all MagicLens apps available to you. You are immediately taken to the Content Overview. On the left side you see the main navigation,
which is always the same. Here you see the
actions that you can perform within the respective category. On the icons, you can see what kind of content
it is. This symbol refers, for example, to a video. I will now show you how to exchange and delete
new content in various languages using the “References” slideshow. For example, there is a new image for a successfully
implemented project, which we would like to insert into the existing Slideshow “References”. By clicking on “Upload” we search the appropriate
picture in JPG, PNG or TIF format and upload it. After upload, it is sorted as last reference
and with simple drag and drop we position it now within the slideshow. A red info bar now indicates that this image
is still missing in the German version of the “References”. By the language change in the upper right
we choose the German-language “References” slideshow and can either choose an alternative
image, or use the same if there is no other reference image for the German language version. By clicking the button again, we can use this
button to delete the uploaded image. Please note: The image will be deleted from
all language versions in which it was used. Next, I’ll show you how to create a new language
in your existing MagicLens app and select appropriate content for that new language. By clicking on the “Settings” button in the
main navigation on the left, you get to the most important settings for your selected
app. There you can see immediately which language
content has already been created. Just write another language you want to add,
and do not forget to click Save / Save. You are automatically redirected back to the
content area after backup. Here you will also see immediately by means
of red markers, which content is marked as non-language-independent and requires a corresponding
new content for the new language. By clicking on one of these marked contents,
you will be prompted by the button “Add translation” to upload suitable (in our case, Chinese)
content. Now select the new content in the appropriate
language. The Composer immediately detects whether the
newly selected document has the same number of pages and the same format, and automatically
complements all other pages of the document. Give the slideshow a suitable name. Please try to avoid special characters. If you now go through the different languages,
you will see where translations are still missing and in which document all available
languages are already stored. If you want to finish your editing in the
composer, please log out using the “Logout” button below.
